The GCU Forensic Summer Programme: Forensic Science and Criminal Justice in Scotland is a 3 week programme that will introduce students to methods in forensic science and its involvement into the criminal justice system in Scotland. The programme includes a series of lecture and practical sessions. The taught elements are supplemented with field trips to a forensic (or equivalent) laboratory, prison and a criminal court.‌ Students will receive a transcript on successful completion of the course and the Summer programme is open to any student with basic knowledge in chemistry and biology.
