**2018 Trip Full - Waitlist in Study Abroad Office**

This tour is open to all majors and is tied to HS380: Arizona Navajo Reservation Cultural Immersion offered during the Spring 2018 semester. Students will study Native American culture through an assigned text complemented by assigned readings, media, and discussion.

The course will conclude with a weeklong immersion at the Navajo Reservation in the four corners region of Arizona. Students will have the opportunity to interact with Navajo people during observations at the Tsehootsooi Medical Center and in the local community. In addition, students will experience the breathtaking beauty of the canyons and red rocks characteristic to this area. The final project will be a GPS Narrative with journal entries prior, during, and after their experience on the reservation and will identify their status/progress on the cultural continuum. This course fulfills the GPS Course with Study Away requirement.
