Undergraduate students at Ashland University who desire to
participate in a Global Education program must meet these minimum
requirements. They must:
- have completed a minimum of 12 Ashland University credits at the
time of application (transfer credits and post-secondary credits (ex.
AP, CLEP) do not apply);
- have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5;
- be 18 years old at the time of departure; and
- be free of any academic or judicial sanctions within the past year.
Graduate students at Ashland University who desire to participate in a
Global Education program must meet these minimum requirements:
- complete a minimum of 12 Ashland University credits at the time of application
- have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- must be free of any academic sanctions
Bachelor's Plus students at Ashland University who desire to
participate in a Global Education program must meet these minimum
requirements:
- have been admitted to the Bachelor's Plus program without conditions
- have completed 12 semester hours of credit at the time of application
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in his/her teaching licensure program
- be in good standing with the University and the Bachelor's Plus program
- have letters of good standing from the Program Center Director and Bachelor's Plus System Director
NOTE: There are additional criteria for those
Bachelor's Plus students desiring to student teach abroad. Contact your
Program Center Director for more information.
Ashland Theological Seminary students who desire to participate in a
Global Education program must meet these minimum requirements:
- complete a minimum of 20 ATS quarter credits at the time of application
- have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- must have good academic and judicial standing
Appeal Process
Students who do not meet these criteria should ask the Global
Education Office about the appeals process. Appeals are heard by a
three-member Appeals Board whose decision is final.
