Juan Tomas is a small village in the Dominican Republic, located about 10 miles northeast of Santo Domingo. The missionaries that live here, Paul and Linda McMillan, share Christ by looking at the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the community. We have the privilege of working with them. Some of the areas where we have served include the medical clinic, mission school (K-3 to 12), English classes, and service projects at the mission and in the village. Service projects completed each year are dependent on what needs are identified. Sponsored by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Open to all AU students. You must receive a trip acceptance notification in writing from Lisa Young before beginning this enrollment process.
